SquareOne Affordable Housing Advocacy is a minority woman–led nonprofit supporting families rebuilding after domestic violence and housing instability. We provide trauma‑informed housing navigation, transitional rental assistance, and long‑term stability services that help families regain safety, dignity, and independence. Rooted in equity and compassion, we walk alongside each household as they rebuild their foundation and create a future filled with possibility.
SquareOne blends trauma‑informed care with practical housing navigation—something rarely done together. We don’t just help families find housing; we help them keep it, stabilize, and rebuild long‑term independence.
We call ourselves SquareOne because that’s where many people feel they are starting from when "life" happens. Our mission is to make “starting over” feel possible, supported, and full of hope.

We resource a variety of programs and services to meet the needs of our community, including emergency financial assistance, job training, and healthcare services. Our goal is to empower individuals and families to become self-sufficient and thrive.
